20 years ago, a couple of friends realised that they needed to help a couple of friends. There was a one-size-fits-all approach adopted by the retailers and technology providers, which didn’t really fit anyone. So the friends began building bespoke personal computers, which lead to bespoke networks, which lead to a reputation of being the go-to bespoke provider for all things IT, and Syrex Intranets was born.
Fast-forward two decades and while our name became simpler, our vision has remained: to provide complete, client inspired solutions, using the latest technologies and products. Still owned and run by the founding members, our team has many years experience and IT-related qualifications and we’re constantly increasing our skill and knowledge-base to ensure we are able to offer and support the best products and services available.

We provide a wide range of support services and products, which includes connectivity (VoIP, fibre, wireless and VPN), cloud services (Office 365, virtualisation, hosting, backup & archiving), security (firewall, VPN and security management), sales of both hardware and software, comprehensive support and managed on- and off-site support.
We hold an ECS/ECNS license from ICASA, are a Microsoft Certified Partner and a specialist in providing Linux RedHat solutions. Syrex is an accredited BBBEE company and has customers from both the private and public sectors including Grant Thornton South Africa and LabourNet.
